History

In 1992, Kirby South started painting with his oldest son, Klint, as a way to pay college tuition. Informal marketing consisted of knocking on doors and gathering referrals. Kirby and Klint started with painting residential homes and apartments, utilizing only personal tools and vehicles. The ad-hoc, pay-college-tuition concept began to grow!
In 1995, Janet South saw the potential growth and opportunities. She formally established and incorporated the venture as "Quality Plus Painting, Inc." She started driving growth and developing the business.

In 2003, the company legally changed its’ name to DECO Group, Inc. in order to differentiate itself within the marketplace and incorporate additional specialty services.
DECO Group is fully-operational within the commercial/industrial market, providing value engineering and best-practices to coating applications. Focused on customer needs, DECO Group treats every project as an investment not just a "paint job."
As DECO Group continues to grow, their past performance, capability, capacity, and strong referral base ensures their continued success within the coating industry.
