Janet South, 100% owner and President of DECO Group, Inc., is the primary lead within the company. Her extensive background in the construction industry combined with her entrepreneurial savvy, are the driving forces to the organization’s success. Janet utilizes her advanced understanding of high quality, ethical standards, and a good sense of business to enhance corporate growth. With previous experience as a registered nurse, Janet organizes with precision and initiates calculated planning.

Janet South also serves on the NAWBO (National Association of Women Business Owners) Indianapolis Board of Directors, Purdue University Supplier Diversity Development Advocacy Council, Leadership Development, and Veteran’s of Valor Board Member.

Kirby is Vice President of DECO Group. Kirby’s vast and detailed estimating experience qualifies and exemplifies best value-engineering practices. Kirby shows his dedication to the business through determination, hard work, and a strong referral base. Kirby’s vast knowledge of the industrial sector provides a broad understanding on complex issues and job site applications.

He has held the office of President for the Indianapolis Chapter of the Painting and Decorating Contractors of America, serving three recent consecutive terms.

Klay, the Quality Control Manager, has 12 years experience in the field of coatings and management. He is quality-control-minded and goal-oriented utilizing the discipline and training he received as a recent combat Marine veteran. Klay’s "chain-of-command" structure and organization ensures total customer satisfaction.

His enthusiasm, determination, and dedication to serve have earned him the “Top Achievement Award” in field management.

Laura, Executive Director of Business Development, seeks out opportunities to best serve existing and new customer needs. Her comprehensive knowledge and understanding of government, public and private contracts provides added value to the customer. Laura’s multi-faceted experience includes hands-on involvement in company safety.

As an ISA (Indiana Subcontractors Association) member, Laura strives to enhance her construction knowledge through education programs and member benefits. Laura is also one of DECO Group’s education facilitators.

Gregg, Chief Estimator, has 31 plus years experience in the field of estimating for professional coatings. Gregg handles all incoming bids and post-bid information.

Gregg’s attention to detail is a great asset by providing clarification documents, request for Information to scope details, and setting up field management.
